ECLIPSE: Empowering Consumers in the Energy Transition
The ECLIPSE Project is dedicated to fostering consumer-centric energy solutions by leveraging digital tools and flexibility services. By integrating innovative technologies, ECLIPSE aims to create a Consumer Energy Reference Framework (CERF) that enables active consumer participation in energy markets.
Through its initiatives, the project supports decarbonization, grid optimization, and consumer empowerment, aligning with the EU’s long-term energy goals.
ECLIPSE’s Participation in the Customer Empowerment Panel
ECLIPSE will be represented at the Panel Discussion on Customer Empowerment (14:50 – 15:40), which will address the crucial question:
“How should DSOs foster innovation and maintain flexible grids to help the empowerment of energy consumers?”
Lola Alacreu Garcia, Senior Project Manager at ETRA I+D and ECLIPSE Project Representative, will join experts from the European Commission, BEUC, Octopus Energy, Stedin, AIT Austrian Institute of Technology, and REScoop to discuss strategies for integrating consumers into the evolving energy ecosystem.
